My Tarte epiphany happened a few months ago when I tried their ‘Maneater’ palette (review HERE). I had used a fair amount of their products before (Shape Tape, Sephora birthday gift, and so on) and been quite happy with them, not only because of the result, but because their products are made with naturally-derived ingredients (which meant that my skin probably wouldn’t freak out in allergic reactions upon use).
But after I tried the Maneater palette, I was completely and utterly sold.
The Tartelette Tease palette ($23 USD/$30 CAD) contains six eyeshadows (four mattes and two shimmers) and a mirror. Each eyeshadow contains 0.03 oz of product.
The palette has a delightful milk chocolate scent (similar to the scent of the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette). The shades swatched very smoothly – the pigmentation was fantastic when swatching with my fingertip. The mattes picked up easily on my brush, but I’d recommend applying the shimmers with your fingertip.

This palette would be great to bring along when travelling. It’s small, stays shut with a magnetic closure, and can definitely cover the warm and smoky eye category. I hope they expand the Tease palettes and make ‘Tartelette Tease’ Volume 2 – maybe a ‘Tartelette in Bloom Tease’?
You can find the ‘Tartelette Tease’ palette at Sephora, Ulta, and online.
