Little known fact: Estée Lauder was one of my first foundation loves, with their ‘Double Wear Stay-in-Place’ foundation. Until then, I truly had no idea that foundation could actually make your face look like one consistent colour.
My makeup knowledge may have grown since then, but my love for Estée Lauder remains. Today I’m testing out the Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Serum Makeup.
I had always assumed that I was the lightest shade that Estée Lauder makes, but at the preview event, I got to get officially skin-matched by a professional. And lo and behold…….I had been right all along! Enter ‘Cool Bone’ *and the heavens opened*.
The product comes in a clear, tall, square-shaped bottle, with a gold band, and black cap. The cap easily pops off to reveal a pump applicator, and bonus: the cap *clicks* when you put it back on, so you know that it’s secure. The bottle contains 30 ml of products, the same as the ‘Double Wear Stay-in-Place’ Foundation, and double the amount of product you would find in the ‘Double Wear Nude Cushion Stick Radiant’ foundation (Review HERE). And to top it all off, the product contains SPF 25!
I applied 2.5 pumps of the product to my face with a damp beauty blender. I was able to achieve medium coverage, which I actually really liked (Shocker – She likes something that has less than full coverage!). The foundation wasn’t able to cover up my gigantic blemish that I was sporting on my cheek, but it easily covered up any redness that I had around my nose.

I’m actually a pretty big fan of this foundation. It was super comfortable – in fact, there wasn’t any point during the day where I thought to myself “I’m wearing foundation”. It was super lightweight. The semi-dewy finish was very natural, and can easily work for an everyday foundation for people with less-than-cooperative skin.
You can find the Estée Lauder Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Makeup for $52.00 CAD at Estée Lauder counters.
