MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Rouge Lipstick Launch

MAKE UP FOR EVER is about to release their line of Artist Rouge lipsticks in-store at Sephora, so of course, they had to celebrate in style.

This past Thursday night MAKE UP FOR EVER invited bloggers, Youtubers, makeup artists, and Sephora employees to join in the celebrations at Airship 37, in Toronto’s Distillery District.

Myself and my awesome date for the night, Jen from Vibrant Beauty Blog, walked the red carpet, took some selfies, and spent the night playing with lipstick.

Upon entering the venue, we passed by cases which displayed MAKE UP FOR EVER history.

There were speeches by Trinidad Rivas, National Education Director for MAKE UP FOR EVER, and Dannica Lamoureux, Canadian National Educator for MAKE UP FOR EVER.

Live lipstick art, from artist Jessica Gorlicky was on display all night.  She painted two pieces on spinning canvases, using MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Rouge lipsticks.

And an evening celebrating lipstick wouldn’t be complete without trying it on.  I was in love with the lip that makeup artist Filomena of Filosophie was rocking, so I asked to wear exactly what she was wearing.  It was a mix of Artist Rouge lipstick M501 (plum purple), with C602 (sky blue) blended onto the centre of my lips.
