I have a few pieces from the collection, so I put together a look, with swatches!

Let’s start with the nail polish.  ‘Style Matters’ is a frosty emerald green that retails for $14 CAD/$12 USD.

I was super impressed with the pigmentation.  I was able to achieve opacity in 2 coats, which is a far cry from my usual 3-4 coats required to cover up the free edge of my nail (My pet peeve is when I can see the line where my free edge starts).

The only issue with this nail polish is that it does stain, so be sure to wear a good base coat.

Next up is the lipstick in ‘By Special Order’, which is a fuchsia red that retails for $21 CAD/$17 USD.

As some of you know, I tend to be afraid of red lipsticks because they can look harsh on me.  But the fuchsia in ‘By Special Order’ really helped tone down the intensity of the red.

The closest colours that I have to ‘By Special Order’ are ‘Red Devil’ by Quo Cosmetics (Review HERE), and ‘Blush My Lips’ by Essence.  However, ‘Red Devil’ had no hint of pink in it, and ‘Blush My Lips’ had much more of a sheer/glossy finish, and it also had less pigmentation than the MAC lipstick (the Essence swatch took about 8 swipes).

Finally is the 9 pan eyeshadow palette in ‘Runway Worthy’, which has a mixture of finishes, but no matte shadows.  It that retails for $42 CAD/$32 USD.

In the look that I’m wearing below I first applied ‘Dress Me Up’ in the crease.  Then I applied ‘Paradise Island’ on the inner half of my lid, and ‘Frock Talk’ on the outer half of my lid.  To deepen the look I blended ‘Nice Fit’ from the outer V inward into the crease.  Finally I applied ‘Hypnotizing’ to my lower lash line, and ‘Runway Worthy’ to my browbone.

I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to achieve an everyday look with a palette that had bold pinks and purples, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Here is the entire look using the ‘Runway Worthy’ eyeshadow palette, and ‘By Special Order’ lipstick.
