NARS Lip Cover in ‘Overheated’ – Review and Swatches

About a month ago I was inside a Nordstrom Rack, taking a look around with my bestie.  Being the awesome bestie that she is, she found two new-looking NARS products and showed them to me.  I was very confused because they were from the newly released collection, so WHY would they be at Nordstrom Rack?  In addition, they looked unopened, AND they were on clearance!  I stopped asking questions and found my way to the cash.

Time for a review!

‘Overheated’ is part of the Fresh Riviera-inspired NARS Under Cover Summer 2016 Collection.  I really like the design on the box – very fresh and fun!

It comes in a matte black tube, and has a classic doe foot applicator.

‘Overheated’ is a beautiful terracotta nude that has a glossy, but creamy finish.  It is super pigmented, so you can easily achieve opacity.

I really like the formula of the NARS Lip Cover.  It’s not transfer-proof, but I’m okay with that, because it’s the only non-matte liquid lipstick that I own in this particular shade.  Do you have a favourite NARS product?  Let me know in the comments!
