Too Faced Love Flush ‘I Will Always Love You’ and ‘How Deep Is Your Love?’ – Review and Swatches

Can you believe that I’ve never tried a Too Faced blush?  Yes, my love for blushes as a whole has grown exponentially in the past year, but I can’t believe it took me this long to try out a blush from one of my fave brands.

So….was it worth the wait?

I have two Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blushes.  The blushes come in a heart-shaped package and are embossed with flowers, bunnies, and that famous Too Faced logo

‘I Will Always Love You’ is a gentle peachy coral.  I thought that it might not compliment my skintone, but I was very wrong.

Next is ‘How Deep is Your Love?’, which is a guava red-pink.

I remember when these first came out, and not being nuts about them, purely based on the packaging.  I thought that the design seemed a bit young, like something I would expect in a ‘my first make up set’ type of thing.  Flash forward a year and a half, and I don’t care how they look on the outside, because I’m officially a huge fan of these blushes.  A lot of times with blush I find myself having to apply a second layer because I can’t see much colour payoff at first, then by the second application, I go too far.  However, with these Love Flush Blushes I find that I have a great amount of control as far as deciding the type of look I want – subtle, or a with little more oomph (both options still allow for the colour of the product to be featured).  The only thing that I didn’t like about these blushes was the closure – I had such a hard time opening the blush that I had to wedge in some tweezers, to avoid breaking a nail.

The next blushes on my list would be ‘Love Hangover’ and ‘Baby Love’.  You know what?  Maybe I’ll go for a little bit of everything and try out the Love Flush Palette.  Also, I have an announcement: next February, in lieu of Valentines I will be accepting Love Flush Blushes *wink*.

You can find Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blushes at your local Sephora or Ulta for $32 CAD/$26 USD.
