IMATS New York 2016 – Review, Prices, and Haul Video

I showed you my IMATS New York ‘Face of the Day’, so now I’m sharing the full IMATS New York experience.

There is no better way to experience IMATS New York, than with fellow makeup lovers.  Myself and my beauty blogger pals braved the lines and made our way into the convention.

We lined up outside for about 45 minutes.  We then went inside, warmed up, and lined up for another 5 minutes to get our wristbands.  Then we were off!

The Morphe line was definitely the longest – it went on and on, throughout the day.

Did I mention that WE SAW SHRINKLE?  Thanks for the cab, girl!

I think it’s safe to say that we got the full IMATS New York experience.  We waited in a long lineup outside, bought products that aren’t easy to get our hands on in Canada, spotted celebrities (Shrinkle, and Lisa Eldridge), and had a great time.  The venue was way bigger than the one in Toronto, so understandably it was less crowded.  The people there were also way less pushy….literally – I only got nudged once, compared to Toronto, where it felt like I was on a battlefield.

Whenever I go to conventions or sales, I always wonder about the prices/discounts, so I made sure to take note of the sales, and bring them to you, the good people of the internet.

And of course, I couldn’t go to IMATS without buying a few things for myself.

A good time was had by all!  Be sure to check out the blogs of my beauty blogger travel buddies.

Share your IMATS hauls with me!  Leave a comment and let me know what you got at IMATS.  And if you weren’t able to go, what would you have bought?  Thanks for reading, and until next time, toodles! – Shawna

      Hi Tiffany,

It was a friend that purchased it, so unfortunately I’m not sure. If I’m not mistaken, I believe it was from the Beautylish booth.
