A little while I ago I talked about the Cover FX Click Stick, in my ‘Canadian’s Guide to Cover FX‘ post. I promised a review of the Cover FX Click Stick, and I am nothing if not a woman of my word!
If you want to get all the details about the Click Stick, everything you need to know is right HERE.
“How does the Click Stick work?”, you might ask.
- Grab Your Cover FX Click Stick vessel.
- Choose whichever Click you would like to use, and remove the cap (keep the cap, in case you want to switch out, later on).
- Insert The Click into the vessel.
- Repeat steps 1-3 on the other side of the Click Stick vessel.
Them, just pop the Click Stick into your bag, and you’re good to go. To touch up while you’re out, just poke the end of one Click, and the opposite one will come out. (Shawna’s tip: If you can’t get your second Click out, put the cap on the Click that has already been taken out, and insert it into the empty end, to pop out the other Click. Then pull your capped Click out, and you have an empty vessel.)

Here is a little ‘before & after’, when I used the Cover FX Correct Click in ‘Green’ and ‘Lavender’. I blended out the Corretc Clicks with a damp Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. Then with that same sponge, I applied a mix of Becca Cosmetics Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation in ‘Fair’, with 2 drops of Cover FX Custom Cover Drops in ‘P20’.
According to the Cover FX website, ‘Green’ is used to correct severe redness, Rosacea, and blemishes. Ideal for shades P, N, G, 0-40 (Light & Medium Skintones). It really helped neutralize my redness, especially the redness around my nose, which I recently developed due to an allergic reaction. ‘Lavender’ corrects yellow, sallow skin & adds brightness. Ideal for shades P, N, G, 0-40 (Light & Medium Skintones). I don’t know too much about colour science, but I thought that it was pretty cool how nicely the purple blended into my skin, and brightened my face up.
To finish off my look, I used the Cover FX Enhance Click in ‘Golden Peach’ as a blush on my cheeks, and highlighted with ‘Candle Light’ on the very tops of my cheeks – both blended out with my fingertips. They started off quite light, when applied, but they were easily buildable. I absolutely looooved how the Enhance Clicks caught the light.
The Click Stick (vessel) retails for $10, and will be useful for you if you like to keep your makeup in your bag and apply it during your commute, or touch up during the day. If you’re someone who likes to keep your makeup on your vanity, and not bring it with you, you could probably skip the vessel. The Correct Click (which contains 5.5 g of product), the Cover Click (which contains 5.5 g of product), and the Enhance Click (which contains 4.8 g of product) each retail for $24. My must-have out of all the Cover FX Click Sticks has to be the Enhance Click in ‘Golden Peach’ because who doesn’t love a good highlight? It catches the light jus!
In Canada, you can find Cover FX at Sephora and Shoppers Drug Mart, as well as online at CoverFX.com.
Let me know in the comments – have you decided to #JoinTheClick? Thanks for reading, and until next time, toodles! – Shawna
