Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue Foundation – Review, Swatches, Before and After

I always pass by the Bourjois section when I’m at Shoppers Drug Mart. Up until now, I haven’t had the chance to try their products.

I’ve heard good things about their foundations for a few years, so I finally got the chance to give them a spin.

The Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue Foundation comes in a standard 30 ml square tube (the same style packaging as the Maybelline Super Stay Better Skin Foundation) with a red cap.

It comes with a pump applicator, which is the more sanitary option compared to doe foot applicators.

I applied one and a half pumps to my face and blended it out with a damp L’Oréal Paris Makeup Infallible Blend Artist Makeup Blender Sponge. I was able to get light to medium coverage.

Wearing Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue Foundation in “Rose Ivory”

Finished Look

I wore the foundation for a 12-hour day and saw my oil poke through quite a lot. The oil didn’t break down the foundation completely, keeping a bit of the pigmentation present. Because I achieved medium coverage I was able to tone down the dark circles around my eyes as well as dimish the look of my acne scars near my chin and jawline. I would recommend setting it with a powder if you have combination or oily skin like me. I used the Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder in the finished look, which has a little bit of a sheen to it.

This one will be one of those foundations I reach for when my skin is less oily, as I think it will be a good option for those days when my skin is under control and just needs a bit of complexion balancing.
