The Beauty Filter collection includes eyeshadows, highlight/blush duos, mascara and lip gloss.

Charlotte’s new Beauty Filter collection will give you the brightest eyes, the prettiest youth glow, longest lashes, and the loveliest lips of their life!!  Inspired by technology and brought to life using the best formulas, the best colours, and the best artistry techniques, these real-life beauty filters put the sparkle-back-in-the-eyes, lift the cheekbones, and create the illusion of more pillow-y lips, just like your favourite filter! The Beauty Filters collection is made up of real-life beauty filters that give the appearance of enhancing, perfecting, lifting, and blurring where you want it most.

The two pieces I’m reviewing from the Beauty Filter collection come in boxes with pop-art-like designs, featuring the part of the face the product is targeted towards.

The compacts themselves are true to Charlotte Tilbury packaging – browns, golds and burgundies, complete with a mirror.

Pretty Youth Glow Filter in Pretty Fresh ($50 CAD) is a highlight/blush duo. It is a cream-to-powder formula, so I applied the highlight with a mix of my fingertip and a cream eyeshadow brush and applied the blush with a stipple brush (stippling motions first, then small circular motions to blend). The blush was the star of this power-duo. Upon first stipple I realized how much punch it packed, so I immediately started blending away. It’s a beautiful fuchsia shade that is super spring-appropriate. The highlight is super-subtle pearly pink shade. I had a hard time seeing it on my face when I looked in the mirror, but itseems to be one of those highlights that peeks out in the right lighting. So if you’re someone who likes a whisper of highlight instead of a scream, this one might be for you.

The Bigger Brighter Eyes Filter eyeshadow palette in Exaggereyes ($66 CAD) is a nude quad with a pop of sparkle. The “define” shade is a fantastic transition colour, perfect for your crease. The “prime” shade is great for an inner corner and browbone highlight. I found the “pop” shade a bit tricky to work with because it swatched nicely with my fingertip, but using a brush, I didn’t really get any kind of eyeshadow base picked up, it was strictly glitter flakes. So don’t count on using it as an outer crease shade, like I originally planned. My alternate plan for the shade did end up looking lovely – I applied it with my fingertip to the outer 2/3 of my lid. It gave the most beautiful pop of sparkle.

I always feel so grown-up when I use Charlotte Tilbury. I’m still low-key obsessed with the Vintage Vamp quad, and the cut of their Matte Revolution lipsticks are absolutely perfect. Do you have a favourite Charlotte Tilbury product?

Thanks for your review, I was wondering how the new releases would look on a fair skin tone. I am going on May 3 to have a Charlotte Tibury makeover at Nordstrom and will not shy away from the eye shadow quad.

Great review, so useful. Getting a make-over at the London flagstore in a month’s time, and I’m now definitely getting this palette. Many thanks!
