Get ready for some pretty-ness, because today I’m talking about the Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipsticks!

Inspired by and in collaboration with some of the world’s most inspiring celebrities, Charlotte Tilbury brings you 16 lipsticks (4 of which are best sellers), in a variety of finishes.

The lipsticks are housed in a beautiful rose gold tube, with the Charlotte Tilbury logo topping off the cap.  The lipsticks themselves have an embossed lipstick print, and have square-cut tip (makes for a super easy application, especially when carving out the shape of your lips).

‘Secret Salma’, inspired by Salma Hayek, is a natural deep-rose plum with a matte finish.  This one is my favourite of the bunch, because it could easily compliment any look.

‘Kim K.W.’, inspired by Kim Kardashian-West, is a pale nude pink, with a cream finish.  The formula was very creamy, but required a couple of swipes to really cover up and cancel out my natural lip colour.

‘Miranda May’, inspired by Miranda Kerr, is a sunny poppy coral, with a demi-matte finish (I consider it demi-matte because it still had a bit of shine to it).  The formula was a bit difficult with this one – it was a thinner formula, that applied slightly patchy, and moved around on my lips when I swiped the product for an additional coat.

Not all three were home runs, but there was definitely a stand-out shade, for me.  I absolutely love ‘Secret Salma’ – the colour, the finish, the application, and how comfortable it felt.

While these lipsticks cost a pretty penny, I would definitely recommend treating yourself this holiday season, and grabbing one for yourself.

You can find Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipsticks for $32 USD/$38 CAD online, or for Canadians, in-store at Holt Renfrew.
