The latest fruity collection from Too Faced is the Peaches and Cream collection.
The last release included lip gloss oils, a face palette, and a blush. Lucky for us, Too Faced continues to expand on the peachy pleasant-ness and bring us some peachy lipsticks.
The Too Faced Peach Kiss Moisture Matte Long Wear Lipsticks ($21 USD/$25 CAD) come in an ombre-donned box with a gold border and a picture of a peach, coloured with the corresponding lipstick shade.
The corresponding lipstick shade is also featured on the top of the cap, with a peach print.
The tube itself is cream-coloured with gold accents. But cuteness reaches a new peak when you remove the cap to reveal the lipstick bullet. The square-cut tip features the Too Faced initials, and little peaches embossed along the side of the bullet – gah it was so cute that I didn’t want to apply it and destroy the detailing!
I have a bunch to review, so I’ll be tackling them by splitting them up into a few posts.
Round 1 *ding ding*
Well……if I had to ruin the adorable detailing, I may as well have taken a ton of photos first.
Let’s get to the first batch of four.
‘Breakfast Club’ is a beautiful orange-red. If they ever re-make the movie “The Breakfast Club”, this shade could easily be the character Claire’s signature shade. The formula has good pigmentation, and even coverage.
‘Doll Face’ is a nude almost concealer-like shade with a slight pink tint. The formula was streaky so I had to press my lips together a fair amount of times to gently blend out the lines (with thicker formulas, I find that rubbing my lips back and forth makes the product pull). As pale as I am (MAC NW13), this shade was still too pale for me.
‘Peach Beach’ is a coral sorbet with a fun punch of colour. The pigmentation was fantastic, and it applied smooth and easily. I don’t normally gravitate towards shades like this, but once it was on my lips, I was so into it!
‘Makeup Me Happy’ is a fun, bubble gum, blue-toned pink. The formula was very similar to ‘Doll Face’, meaning that it was tough to work with, and needed extra blending to appear smooth.
The lipsticks had a somewhat strong scent of fig, which makes sense because these products include sweet fig cream. I enjoy fruity scents, but if you don’t, the scent might be present enough to bother you.
Of these four shades, my top picks are ‘Breakfast Club’ and ‘Peach Beach’. The big selling point for me with these lipsticks is the formula – I find that if I’m happy with the formula, I’ll have that much more of a reason to love the shade, which is the case for the two aforementioned.
Stay tuned, because I have a lot more of the Peaches and Cream collection coming your way!
The Peach Beach shade is gorgeous! I don’t mind scents but I really don’t like product tastes, so as long as these don’t have a flavour, they’d be okay for me!

I didnt notice a taste. Although, I dont usually notice a taste unless it’s really awful and I cant avoid it. But no issues with these guys.
