Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss – Review, Swatches, and Looks

If you’re a makeup lover, then you’ve definitely heard that Too Faced is expanding their Sweet Peach line.  It started out as an eyeshadow palette, and now they’re coming out with a Sweet Peach blush, highlighter/blush/bronzer palette, and lip oil glosses.

I’ll be sharing reviews of all the new Sweet Peach products, so today I’m kicking it off with the ‘Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss’.

“Pucker up with our juicy peach oil-infused creamy lip gloss that smells and tastes like freshly picked peaches.  It includes: Peach Oil, Coconut Oil, and Vitamin E to soften and moisturize the lips.”

The collection includes eight peach-toned shades of gloss.  One tube contains 4 mL of product, and comes with a flat, angled paddle applicator.

On top of each tube is a friendly peach, smiling back at you.  What a cute touch!

‘Pure Peach’ is a neutral papaya pink.

‘Papa Don’t Peach’ is a terracotta with a hint of cocoa.  It’s probably my fave from this collection!

‘Peach Fuzz’ is a baby pastel peach.  It’s the lightest shade of the bunch, and is slightly streaky.

‘Peach Tease’ is a light neon fruit punch.

‘Poppin’ Peach’ is a tangerine orange.  The formula was a bit watery, so it was hard to achieve the full vibrancy that you see in the tube.

‘Peach, Please!’ is a fun pink lemonade.

‘Tickle-Me-Peach’ is a candy red.  It was easily the most pigmented gloss in this collection.

‘Peach-sicle’ is aptly named, because the only way I can describe it as is a peach creamsicle!  I found that this shade was very similar to ‘Peach Fuzz’, in the tube, as well as on the lips.

This is my first time using a lip gloss that doubled as a lip oil, and it made for a very comfortable wearing experience.  The glosses weren’t sticky, and they made my lips feel very moisturized.  Usually after swatching a lot of lipsticks, my lips feel like they’re going to fall off, but the oils made my lips feel very calm and treated.

Too Faced definitely followed through, on their promise for scented glosses.  It has that light, sweet, peachy scent that you find in the Sweet Peach Palette.  They do mention that the glosses also taste sweet.  I licked my lips and didn’t find that it tasted like anything (although the scent could definitely trick your brain, and make you think it tastes like peaches), but after taking the glosses off, there was a sweetness left behind on my lips.

As far as pigmentation, you aren’t going to get full coverage from all of these glosses.  The first layer that I applied as a base was quite sheer, so if I wanted the colour to show more, I had to apply another coat or two.  Some of the shades became streaky when I tried to apply more layers, to get the colour to show, but when I rubbed my lips together, back and forth, it made the product drag – so that’s something to look out for.  To make the colour more even, I gently pressed my lips together, without rubbing.

The Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Glosses will be $19.00 USD/$24.00 CAD.  They will be available on the Too Faced website on December 14th at midnight EST, online on Sephora and Ulta’s websites on December 15th, and in-store at Sephora starting January 5th.
