Ice, ice, baby!

Juicy Couture has a new fragrance that is sure to make you crave a frozen treat.

‘Viva La Juicy Glacé’ Eau De Parfum is the latest limited-edition fragrance form Juicy Couture.

I’m sure we all remember the days of pink, blinged out, velour Juicy tracksuits, that you’d see Paris Hilton exclusively wear in the early 2000’s.  While we may not see them much anymore, I enjoy that Juicy Couture’s packaging instantly takes me back to 2003.

The bottle is an iridescent icy blue bottle that has a glittery magenta shift, along with a fluffy, flower-accented, diamond-like cap, wrapped in a pink bow.

Top notes: pear sorbet, frozen mandarin, frosted cassis leaves
Mid notes: orange blossom, jasmine
Base notes: sandalwood, vanilla, amber

Fruity, cool, with a little bit of warmth at the base – sounds like a good theme to head towards winter with!

The mandarin is definitely the strongest note in this fragrance – it gives a a sweet and juicy overlay to the whole fragrance.  ‘Viva  La Juicy Glacé’ might be a bit too sweet for some people who prefer more floral and ocean-like scents, but if you’re a fan of the sweetness of Prada Candy (which I’m a huge fan of, but don’t actually own), you might want to take sniff of this next time you’re near the fragrance section.

How nice would our cosmetics and fragrance counter look if they were filled with Juicy Couture bottles? Lots of ruffles and lace. And I do remember my daughter wearing those “Juicy” pants. (She was born in 1990). I’m sure she regrets it now. LOL
