NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in ‘Respect the Pink’ and ‘Club Hopper’ – Review, Swatches, and Looks

I remember when NYX came out with their first batch of shades from the Liquid Suede collection.  I HAD to get my hands on ‘Sandstorm’ and ‘Soft Spoken’.  They were incredible!  They were smooth, creamy, pigmented, and lasted all day.

So my expectations were at an all time high for their second batch of shades.

Today I’m sharing two shades from the second batch of shades from the Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick collection.

They come with flat, flexible paddle applicator.

‘Respect the Pink’ is a neon baby pink.  In addition to it taking a few layers to cover up the streaky-ness, I found the shade way too stark for me to rock.

‘Club Hopper’ is a blackened brown-red.  While I liked the colour, it had a very watery formula, which didn’t impact the pigmentation, but it did impact how it applied (the product gathered in my lip lines).

Unfortunately my experience with these Liquid Suedes were nowhere near my first experience, when they first came out in 2015.  The formula was really off, they applied super streaky, and had a chemical-like scent.  I don’t know what kind of changes were made from the first release of shades to this second release of shades, but I definitely think that it was a step backwards.
