Tarte ‘Maneater’ Palette – Review, Swatches, and Look

Back in February, I got a birthday coupon from Ulta for $10 off any purchase.  Since it wasn’t limited to non-prestige items I knew that it was my chance to treat myself.

I knew that I wanted a small palette, and something a bit different from what I already own.  After perusing Ulta for 20 minutes, I decided that I wanted something with metallic shadows that swatched nicely.  Tarte ‘Maneater’, come on doooooown!

From the second that I swatched the metallic gold, I knew that this palette had to come home with me.  The Tarte ‘Maneater’ Palette comes with eight shades, in a mix of metallic, and matte finishes.

The shadows pick up so smoothly on my brush, and apply to my lid absolutely beautifully.  And did I mention that it smells like hot cocoa?!?!

Man, oh man, oh man!  I would totally recommend this palette if you’re looking for something that’s travel-friendly, has a nice selection of shades, and is just an all around a great palette!

Do you have any other “hidden gem”-type palettes that you’d recommend?  Let me know in the comments below.
