Belif Comes to Canada + Skincare Review

Belif skincare is heeeeeere!  The wait is over because the famous skincare brand that combines British medical herbalist 150 year heritage with modern Korean skin science is finally available in Canada.

I know – Shawna talking about skincare?  That’s right!  I don’t talk about skincare a lot, so when I do, you know it’s good.

I’ve actually been using a few Belif products for the past month.  What made me confident in trying out this skincare was what the brand stands for: true ingredients, true formula, true benefits, true honesty, and true timelessness.  Belif products contain only the necessary and safe ingredients – which is something that is very important to me, since the extra unnecessary ingredients are what usually makes me have a bad skin reaction.  The ingredients are clearly laid all over the packaging – they have nothing to hide.

I’ve been trying out the True Cream – Aqua Bomb, as well as the True Cream – Moisturizing Bomb for the past month.

The True Cream- Aqua Bomb is a refreshing gel-cream that delivers an explosion of soothing moisture, boosting hydration on the skin +18%, 4 hours after application.

This formula contains Lady’s Mantle, an apothecary hydrating herb, which provides weightless yet long-lasting, comforting hydration.

I apply the Aqua Bomb to my face right after I wake up in the morning.  It has a refreshing light citrus-y scent which really helps me wake up in the morning.

The True Cream – Moisturizing Bomb is a comforting cream that envelopes the skin with long-lasting hydration.  Clinically tested to provide up to 26 hours of moisture, this uniquely indulgent formula leaves skin soft, supple, and deeply hydrated.

This formula contains a blend of apothecary herbs, including Comfrey Leaf, a powerful hydrating agent.  This cushion-y cream is formulated to ‘burst’ when applied, releasing a flood of intense moisture onto the skin for a healthy, smooth, supple appearance.  It is the #1 selling beauty product across all categories in Korea’s prestige beauty market.

I use the Moisturizing Cream as part of my evening skincare routine.  I apply The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Serum, and my NeoStrata Dark Circle Cream, then top everything off by gently massaging the Belif cream into my face.  It has a soft, but slightly thick consistency to it and wears very comfortably.  Both Belif creams spread out very nicely, so a little goes a long way – I’ve been using them daily for the past month, and have barely made a dent in the jar.

And my skin feels great!  Barely any break-outs, and my skin doesn’t feel dry throughout the day.  I can’t wait to see how it helps my skin, during the winter.

Belif skincare is now available in Canada at THEFACESHOP, Fruits & Passion, and Nature Collections.

And be sure to check out the contest the Belif is running, where you can win a trip to Banff!  Details HERE.
