Dior just came out with a new collection of eyeshadow singles to add to their roster.
As much as I love pre-made palettes, I always think that it’s worth-while to have a few singles in your collection to not only use as staples in any look that you’re putting together, but it gives you the freedom to not feel confined to the colors provided in a palette – there’s no limit to your creativity!
Introducing the new Diorshow Mono Eyeshadow, a collection of nine unique, fashion-inspired shades that feature several dazzling effects, including matte, satin, glittery, and intense lamé. The long-wearing formula glides onto skin and remains throughout the day. In addition, each color is buildable for the freedom to create a variety of looks, from soft and subtle to smoldering and dramatic.
Each shade in the new Diorshow Mono Eyeshadow collection was created to complement the sophisticated looks of Dior’s runway designs.
Each eyeshadow single comes in a sleek case, hugged by a little Dior pouch, a dual ended applicator (foam applicator and brush), and a mirror.

‘Minimalism’ is a cool-toned, almost green, taupe, ‘Atmosphere’ is a dark violet, ‘Techno’ is a bold and reflective silver, and ‘Cosmpopolite’ is a beautiful lamé copper-gold.
To start off, I blended ‘Minimalism’ into the crease. Then I placed ‘Atmosphere’ on the inner 1/3 of my lid, and ‘Cosmopolite’ on the outer 2/3 of my lid. I added some black liquid eyeliner, then used a flat brush to apply ‘Techno’ to my lower lash line for some added pop, while connecting it to the wing.

I found that ‘Minimalism’, ‘Atmosphere’, and ‘Cosmopolite’ applied better with my fingers than with a brush. However, ‘Techno’ was quite the opposite – it actually fooled me when I dipped my brush in the product, didn’t see much get picked up, then dabbed it on my lower lash line and thought “Whooooooooa, slow down there!” – it packed a HUGE punch. I also found that ‘Minimalism’ and ‘Atmosphere’ took a bit more work and layering to show up on my eyes. My favourite eyeshadow is definitely ‘Cosmopolite’. It has that beautiful lamé finish that would add some spice to any look, or it could shine on its own, with no supporting cast necessary.
Diorshow Mono Eyeshadows are available for $36.00 and can be found at Dior counters.
