Wet n Wild 2016 Launch

I think Wet n Wild is one of those brands that has really been stepping up their game, as of late.  My personal must-haves are the ‘Walking On Eggshells’ Color Icon eyeshadow trio, and the Mega Last lipstick in ‘Mocha-licious’.

Wet n Wild has a bunch of new goodies to add to their roster, which I took a look at, at the 2015 preview.

The launch was held at The Spoke Club in downtown Toronto.  There was plenty do: play around with the new products, get makeup touch-ups, get your nails done, get customized temporary tattoos, and have snacks, while listening to DJ Fizza spin (she’s my fave!).

Chelle of Makeup Your Mind getting her nails done with the new 1 Step Wonder Gel.

Julie of Swatch and Review getting her makeup touched up.

It has not been confirmed if these products will be released in Canada, however I did pick up one of the highlighters when I was in the US.

While we were introduced to a whole slew of things to come from Wet n Wild, I’m picking my Top 3 – Products To Get Pumped For:

1 Step Wonder Gel – With 18 colorful shades, such as “Pale
in Comparison,” “It’s Sher-bert Day,” “Coral Support,”
and “Bye Feluschia,” these nail polishes promise ‘No top coat or
UV light required!’ They are also chip resistant and 3-Free with no
Formaldehyde, Toluene, and Phthalates.

Cruelty-Free Makeup Brushes – These brushes, and Wet n Wild as a
whole, are part of PETA’s “Beauty Without Bunnies” program, which
is committed to eradicating animal testing.  And let’s be honest, the cuteness factor is definitely in play here.  They’re just so pretty to look at!

Velvet Matte Lip Color – Yes, I’m still on the matte lipstick train, and I don’t plan to get off any time soon.  Coming in 9 shades, these lip crayons are retractable, contain 0.11 oz of product, and are an affordable option, if you’re a matte lipstick first-timer.

Thanks for stopping by.  I’ll have a review with swatches of the Wet n Wild Velvet Matte Lip Color on the blog, this coming Friday.  Until then, toodles! – Shawna
