Reviews-Day Tuesday ft. The Body Shop

Hello friends!  I may be sick (for the first time since high school, I might add), but that doesn’t mean that I can’t share a little review with you.  Today I am reviewing a few beauty products from The Body Shop.

Click through to see how they wear…

This isn’t my first time trying The Body Shop’s make up.  I remember first using their products in middle school when my friend bought a small palette of 6 cream shadows from the store, each shaped like little spheres, and of course I wanted to match her, so I bought the same one.  Out of the 6 colours, I only used one of them – a frosty reddish pink – but I wore it every day, because I was obsessed it with (I was also afraid to put anything on my eyes that wasn’t pink).

Let’s start with the eyeshadow from the Colour Crush collection, called “Mon Cherry”.  This shadow is a pearlescent pink-y mauve colour with a bit of shimmer.

When I put this on me eyes at first, it applied sheer.  So I patted on about 3 layers total for it to really show up on my lid.

I put The Body Shop’s Colour Crush eyeshadow in “Mon Cherry” all lover my lid, MAC “Coquette” blended into my crease, Inglot Gel Liner #77, and Covergirl Full Lash Bloom in “Rebel Black” on my lashes.

Next is the Vanilla Lip Gloss.  It applies sheer with whole lotta sparkle, and smells like vanilla and marshmallow.  It applied a bit sticky, as most glosses do, and the sparkles in the formula, although fine, still made the products feel a bit gritty.

The gloss itself is not frosty, but because of the concentration of the glitter, it can definitely appear like it is.

If you are interested in trying out these products, you can find them at your local Body Shop.  Until next time! – Shawna

Seriously Chelle. If I ever become Beyonce-level famous, I'm paying to follow me around and compliment me.

Oooh mama I love this on you! One of my fave TBS shadows is Grape Expectations, it's pretty close to this shade. I wear it almost every day!

Thank Julie! I love this pink shade. If I had gone into the Body Shop and had to pick out one colour, it would probably be this one. I luuuurve a mauve-y pink.
