Face of the Day – Nude ‘Tude Palette by theBalm

My first official #FOTD post!  I have never done a full face of the day post, mainly due to my inability to properly capture my look in a photo.  It always seems to look one way in person, and completely different on camera.  I would try and use some fun colours like greens or purples, and then I’d try to take a picture of it, and it would just come out super sheer and minimalist/natural-looking, which I promise you, it is not, when you see me face to face – let’s be honest, sparkly green eyelids don’t really scream “I’m going for the natural look, today”.  But that’s okay, because there’s nothing wrong with having fun with your make-up, and going a little ‘outside the box’.  But there IS something wrong, when your camera won’t capture it. Grrr……*shakes fist*

Long story short, the lighting, and my camera were semi-cooperating today, so here we go 🙂

And that’s a wrap on my first face of the day!  I hope to do more in the future, but I’ll have to continue to work on my photography skills.  Here’s to improving my blog in 2015 – cheers!  Until next time, tea mates. – Shawna
