Nail of the Day – Sept. 25, 2014

Today’s NOTD features the lovely polishes that come from the brand “Fresh Paints”!

Care to see how it turned out?  It’s not how you’d expect, I promise….

WHA-BAM!

Base – Fresh Paints in “Honeydew”
Detail – Fresh Paints in “Guava”

To achieve this look, I did a version of the saran wrap mani (which you can find a tutorial for, if you use the search bar), but instead of painting the second colour onto the entire nail and dabbing, I just painted it on the saran wrap, and proceeded to dab – much easer, and less mess.

Thoughts?  It’s a great go-to style, when you want something different, but don’t have the time or energy to draw the Mona Lisa on your nails.  Until next time! – Shawna
