Inglot Toronto Sneak Peek (Picture Heavy)

The Inglot Toronto store may not open until tomorrow September 20th, but you my beautiful readers get a sneak peek inside the store!

Click through to see the inside….

It was a lovely night, full of colour, swatches, reuniting with beauty blogger friends, and all things make up.

The famous breathable nail polish.

I have to rave about these crystal effect lip glosses – THEY ARE SO COOL!  They change colour when you wear them, according to what they are layered on top of – one of the employees recommended putting it over a black to get the full effect.

Look at that!  It’s like something from outer space – I definitely need to pick this up, next time I’m at the store.

Swatching them was the coolest part.  With each stroke, you could see the color adjusting itself to my skin tone – it was changing colour in front of my eyes.

The store was crisp & organized, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the products.  By the end of the night, half my body was covered with swatches.  The colour selection was incredible, of course I was gravitating to all things sparkly.  I treated myself to a gel liner (which does not budge – awesome), and a beautiful lip paint that I couldn’t say no to.  I was so pleased with the quality of the cosmetics, that I had to buy just a few, right?  Big thank you Inglot Toronto for organizing this, it was a great way to spend the evening.

Check out the grand opening of Inglot Toronto, located in Dundas Square, Saturday, September 20th from 12 pm-6 pm.  And be sure to follow them on twitter, and check them out on facebook.

Welcome to Toronto, Inglot!

Awesome post! That AMC gloss is amazing over dark lips, I call it GALAXY GLOSS! Great seeing you last night, if only for a bit. Love all the Jen(n)s in the photos!

It was great seeing you too! My rule is, if Im still thinking about galaxy gloss next month, I'll go back and get it. I absolutely love covering beauty events, hopefully I get to do more in the future 🙂

You are so disciplined! That's a technique I like to employ too — if it's a permanent item I make myself wait a few weeks before actually purchasing.

All you have to do is click the inglot tag on my blog to know how much I LOVE inglot! I've got 50-60 of their shadows, blush palettes, polishes, single blushes… But the one thing that REALLY bugs me is that we pay 20-40% more in Canada than they are in the USA for the exact same product. $56 vs $80+ for a four pan blush palette? I LOVE Inglot, but they need to make some adjustments to the Canadian pricing if they dont want a repeat of what happened the last time they entered Canada and only the Quebec stores survived.
