Canadian Beauty Bloggers Toronto Meetup

On Wednesday night a bunch of Toronto beauty bloggers from the Canadian Beauty Blogger network met up for a ladies night – Sephora trip, dinner, prizes, beauty swap, makeup talk, and great company!  SUCH a fun night!  Here are a few pictures from dinner, and the swap.

Natalie from Ivory Avenue (left), next to Carly from Beauty & the Blog, with her goody bag prize!
The lovely and talented Kaitlyn, of From Runways To Realways (left), and yours truly (right).

We were given the option to participate in a beauty swap, where we brought in any new or gently used beauty products that we no longer want, and swapped them for someone else’s.  I definitely had some items that I had doubles of, or that didn’t work for me, so this was a great opportunity to pass them on to someone who could get some good use out of them.  Click through to check it out!

The swap pile, before it was tackled.
The lonely leftovers.

Here is what I got from the swap, I la-la-LOVE my new goodies!  Rest assured, ladies – these products are going to a loving home.

MAC, Sheerspark Pressed Powder, in “Pavé”.
L-R:  Lise Watier eyeshadow, in “Blue Curaçao”, NYX eyeshadow, in “Purple”.
Revlon Nail Enamel, Spiderman collection.
Sephora “Celebrity Lash” falsies.
“Ipsy” makeup bag
Essie’s “Belugaria”
Sally Hansen, Complete Salon Manicure
Urban Decay’s “Naked 2” palette.

GAH, IT’S ALL SO BEAUTIFUL!  Thank you to the ladies of Canadian Beauty bloggers for putting this fantastic night together, I’ve already started to collect my latest swappable items.  I can’t wait to see everyone who attended again.  I encourage everyone to check out my fellow beauty bloggers – they are some talented ladies!

BIG thank you to the ladies of CBB for putting this together!

I didn't even notice your shirt until after the event. Very appropriate indeed! (Still madly jealous that you managed to snag the Naked2, but it's going to a loving home!)
It was great meeting you! 🙂

I ADORE the palette – I actually wore it to class today and got some compliments on it. I finally understand the whole "Naked Palette craze". Great meeting you too, can't wait to do another meetup and swap!

Great recap, girly! It was so nice meeting you. Can't wait to see what you think of the Naked 2, but I have a feeling it's going to be a very positive review. 🙂

It was nice to see you and Kaitlyn again, last time was over a year ago and was the first event I'd ever been to ^_^
And congrats on the Naked 2! I was thinking of picking one up but after having not used the Naked 3 ever I think I will just get myself another Naked 1 when I finish this one :p
