Charlotte Tilbury Super Nudes Lipsticks – Review and Swatches

The latest collection from Charlotte Tilbury is the supermodel-inspired Super Nudes. The line draws inspiration from the ’90s when Charlotte started her career and the models that came from that era like Cindy Crafford and Kate Moss. The taupe and brown tones featured in this collection have a goal of increasing one’s natural beauty.

This collection includes an eye palette, a face palette, a dual-ended eyeliner and five lipsticks. Today, I’m sharing two of the lipsticks.

The Super Nudes lipsticks come in special beige and rose-taupe packaging with the CT gold badge, and the lipstick tubes are the classic Charlotte Tilbury gold ribbed cases.

Four out of the five lipsticks in this collection are the Matte Revolution formula, so the bullet is a square tip (which is my favourite cut because it makes for a precise application). One of the lipsticks is the K.I.S.S.I.N.G. formula and has a classic lipstick bullet tip.

First up is the K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick in Runway Royalty. This pinky-peach shade with a hint of taupe and a cream finish is an online exclusive. Easy to wear, not at all streaky and almost felt like it melted into my lips.

The Matte Revolution Lipstick in Supermodel is a mid-toned rose shade with a matte finish. Another one that sits comfortably on my lips and doesn’t settle into my lip creases. I will say that the shade is lighter than I thought it would be when I opened the lipstick. I thought it would be somewhat bold red, but it’s a more subdued version of that deep brown-toned red from the ’90s.

What I really like about Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks is that although their baseline is being a good lipstick, they somehow find a way to get better and better with each launch. I’m not sure if these lipsticks have a new formula, but if so, the formula is a keeper. Both lipsticks felt like a comfy and creamy lip balm that had the wearable pigment of a standard CT lipstick (that balmy feeling can be very hard to find in a matte lipstick).

If you’re looking for a comfortable and flattering neutral lipstick, I’d recommend checking out the Super Nudes collection.
