I’m not afraid to admit that I have a blush collecting problem. Let’s be honest, I have dozens of blushes and only two cheeks. But sometimes a shade just *speaks* to you, you know
The colour, the packaging, the feeling you get when you place it on your vanity!
The KVD Vegan Beauty Everlasting Blush in the shade Rosebud is housed in matte black packaging with a window to show the product, surrounded by beautiful flower petals. It contains 6.3g of product. Although the flower petals make it a bit difficult to store due to its shape and size, there’s no denying how pretty it looks.
I have actually been holding on writing this post for a few months because I wanted to make sure I absolutely stood by my words….this is my favourite blush! The shade seems to go with every look I put together, regardless of the season.
Although the arm swatch looked a bit patchy, it applied like a dream with a blush brush. I could do a soft application for a more subdued look for the summer, or really go in for a rosy cheeks look for fall (and for what is sure to be a freezing winter). I compared it to my go-to “fall shade” blushes, Cola Pop from Clinique and Chroma from Lorac. Rosebud was definitely more of a member of the pink family than Clinique’s Cola Pop’s which is a deep red hue, but it was more of a mauve-y mulberry than Lorac’s somewhat punchy Chroma.
In conclusion, yes, yes, yes, this blush is a winner in my books and a huge contender for the title of Blush MVP. I’ll need to start grabbing the other shades from this line so that Rosebud doesn’t get lonely.
Hi! I just wanted to thank you for this post. I’m trying to decide whether or not to buy this KVD blush (and if so what color) and your swatch + comparison photos and review really helped push me over the edge. Rosebud it is! Thanks!!
