Bright Makeup – My Top 5 Picks

Any time I feel like I’m a makeup rut, I’ll bust out some bright products. But these past few months, I’ve been switching up the products every week to keep things fun.

bright makeup

I have a few products that immediately amp up any look I put together, and I thought I’d share them today.

makeup for ever eyeshadow single buttercup bright makeup

The MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Shadow in Buttercup* continues to be a stand out product. I’ve been a fan of yellow shadows ever since I got the ColourPop Yes Please Palette, and this shade gives me the exact same vibes, except this single shadow can stand on its own without needing any other shadows to do an eye look.

benefit galifornia blush

I can’t say enough about the Benefit Galifornia Blush. I don’t own another blush like it (which is saying a lot because I own more blush than any single person should) and it has this fun punchy coral colour that puts a little extra pep in my step.

sleek Solstice highlighter palette

I wouldn’t classify the Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette as “bright,” but it is hands-down the most impact highlighter I own. It has 3 powders and 1 cream highlight, and while I neglect the cream blush, the 3 powder highlights pack a massive amount of glow.

tarte surfer girl lipstick

Tarte’s Surfer Girl is an oldie but a goodie. Easily the most pigmented lipstick I own, this shade continues to impress me. I wish Tarte would release a new line with this formula!

too faced lifes a festival palette bright makeup

Finally, I have a whole slew of quirky shadows from the Too Faced Life’s A Festival Palette*. This palette has shadows that are filled with character, dimension and all-around fun! I always reach for this palette when I’m looking to overhaul my look with something different and I always get compliments on the looks I put together.
