Gift Guide 2018: Sweet Treats

Okay, so last week’s “gift guide week” spilled into this week. Such is the holiday season – so much to do, so little time.

The final installment in this series of gift guides is “Sweet Treats” – products that look, smell or were inspired by tasty confections.

First up is the L’Occitane en Provence L’Occitane x Castelbajac Almond Five-Piece Holiday Gift Set. L’Occitane’s almond line is my favourite scent that they make – it’s sweet, it’s light and it’s nutty (a recipe for a good scent!). Featuring shower gel, bar soap, hand cream, milk concentrate and exfoliant, this set is everything you need for a spa night.

Next is the 7th Heaven Pink Guava Peel-Off Mask (courtesy of Farley Co.). Not only does it smell fresh and fruity, but it makes skincare fun. Because there’s nothing more satisfying than slowly peeling off a face mask.

There’s always room for NYX, right? The NYX Land of Lollies Highlighter in Powdered Sugar is a golden lilac highlight, embossed with a lollipop-like swirl. The adorable NYX Licorice Lane Foundation Buffing Brush stands out among other brushes by having a clear red licorice-inspired handle. Delish!

And the big finale……the Tarte Pineapple of my Eye Collector’s Set is the perfect gift for makeup lovers. This set includes a pineapple-shaped palette that includes a mirror, a highlight, a bronzer, two blushes (all with the Amazonian Clay formula) and 24 new and exclusive shades. On top of all that you also get a mini Sex Kitten Liquid Eyeliner, a mini Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara and a mini Rainforest of the Sea Quench Lip Rescue. This set is a fantastic value and it’s super cute!

Another year of gift guides is in the books, and you know what that means……I now patiently wait until the holidays are over so I can stock up on 50% off chocolate. Happy holidays, friends!
