NARS Climax Mascara – Review, Before & After

A red hot mascara has hit the market from NARS!

I love trying out new mascaras because I’m always hoping to find my next holy grail product.

This is the NARS Climax Mascara in Explicit Black. The mascara comes in a red ribbed tube – the ribbing actually helps you grip onto the bottle, which makes it much easier to open than a plain smooth tube.

The applicator has a bristle wand with a tapered end (the tapered end is shaped like a triangle, which is really great for getting those fine bottom lash hairs).

With mascaras, I’m always pretty happy with one coat, but for review purposes, I did two coats.

The consistency of this mascara is slightly dry, which means that there was no smudging in sight. One application coated my lashes nicely, and the second coat gave it that “wide-awake” kind of look. Just look at that length…..and no clumps!

I’ve been using Climax for a little over a week and I can confidently say that I will be keeping it on my battle station to use as my everyday mascara.
