It seems like almost every Instagram eye makeup tutorial includes a set of false lashes these days. I’m not complaining – it really rounds out the look.
Luckily for Canadians, we can get our hands on Velour Lashes!
The lashes “Magic Touch” ($34 CAD) are flowy and dreamy – they flutter out towards the end, and have an invisible band (which is ideal for those days when you’re going eyeliner free).
Because of the invisible band, you can use the white lash adhesive ($18 CAD), because it dries clear.
Using the “Too Easy Lash Applicator” ($26 CAD) you place the centre of the lashes first and then placed the ends on afterward. The tip of the applicator is fine enough so that you can still see what you’re doing, and is angled in a way that makes it comfortable to hold while placing the lash – definitely a must-have for falsie fans.
I got pretty good wear out of the lashes, but the ends did fly off a little bit by the end of the day (the photo’s below were taken after about 7 hours of wear). Luckily the lash glue has a very fine brush tip, so you can dab on some glue without completely removing the lashes and starting from scratch.
You can find Velour Lashes in the US at Sephora, and in Canada at Sephora, Murale, and beautyBOUTIQUE.com
