Take a look at one of the latest palettes from Dior, the ‘Electrify’ palette.
The 5 Couleurs palette, emblematic of the Dior look and a concentration of expertise in terms of colour and visual effects, is reinvented in 12 colour harmonies. More creative than ever, with stronger pigments and richer effects, it allows women to explore every facet of colour and to express every aspect of their personality.
The Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette ‘Electrify’ ($72 CAD) contains five shadows – coral, light gold, pistachio, denim blue, and a blackened sapphire.
When I first saw thi palettes, I immediately thought “This looks familiar….” – it totally reminded me of the ‘Bain De Mer’ palette from the summer 2016 collection (review HERE).
While ‘Bain De Mer’ focuses more on pastel orange-toned shades, ‘Electrify’ is more on the frosty blue side.
For the look below I focused on the blues and greens in the palette. The dark blue was the most pigmented shade in the palette, but the pistachio green (which I used on the inner 2/3 of my lid) took about four back and forth dips into the product with my finger. While I am pleased with the pigmentation of the dark blue, the other shades still appear sheer, especially when used with a makeup brush.
The Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette in ‘Electrify’ can be found at Dior counters now.
