This year they have over 25 pieces in their holiday collection.  Palettes, brushes, and gift sets galore!

Today I’m bringing you the Quo Luxury Lipstick Wardrobe.

This set contains four full-sized matte lipsticks.

The lipsticks come in a beautiful red and gold embossed box, and are housed in a rose gold tube.  And bonus, the lipsticks *click* when they’re closed all the way – which is always a plus for me (Nothing worse than a lipstick that doesn’t close firmly, then loses the cap in your purse).

First up is ‘Orchid’, a somewhat neutral baby pink, with a hint of lilac.  I thought this one would look too stark on my skintone, but I ended up really liking it!

‘Crème’ is an orange-toned nude beige colour.  This one took a few layers to show up – at first I couldn’t tell if it was actually on my lips or not.  The formula for ‘Crème’ was a bit finicky for my lips, because it would cling to any chapped spots, and create patches.

‘Fig’ is your everyday very wearable colour – a clay mauve.  It was definitely a winner.

‘Raspberry Red’ is a great name for this final colour.  It reminds me of the inside of a raspberry jelly donut!  The pigmentation on this one was the best of the bunch – it’s a one swiper!

I really like this set!  I think it’s very well-rounded as far as wearable colours.  You have three pretty neutral colours, and a pop of red for the festive season.  The pigmentation on ‘Orchid’, ‘Crème’, and ‘Fig’ were a tad bit lacking (they needed a few layers to really show up), but if you’re willing to put in a bit of work, the results are lovely.  And the price is right too!  Four full-sized matte lipsticks for $30, which breaks down to $7.50 per lipstick – great value.

I think the Quo Luxury Lipstick Wardrobe is a great gift option for the beauty lover in your life.  I’d be very happy to receive this as a gift.

You can find the Quo Luxury Lipstick Wardrobe for $30.00 CAD at Shoppers Drug Mart.
