Belif Skincare – Introduction & Contest Announcement!

Some of you might be familiar with Belif products – the Korean skincare brand that you might have seen popping up around the world.  Well now they’re launching in Canada, in a big way!

Belif is giving Canadians a chance to win a trip for two to Banff!

The #ibelif contest is here, where all it takes to enter is a Twitter or Instagram follow, a hashtag, and you telling Belif what you believe in.

So I thought I’d kick things off by talking about what I believe in.  Mine is pretty simple – I believe in self-care.  When I went to college for social service work, we were constantly encouraged to exercise self-care throughout the program, and to continue it outside of the classroom.  It’s important to take time to yourself (even if you have to plan it, or force yourself to do it).  Whether it’s taking a bath at the end of a long week, or watching your favourite show on Netflix, self-care is important.

My form of self-care is actually this blog.  When I sit down to write a post, any problems I’m dealing with disappear for a little while, and I can focus on what makes me happy – being creative and talking about makeup.  Along with writing the blog, I also consider putting on makeup as my self-care:  I get to relax, slow down, be creative, and make my own art – its my “me time“.

So follow Belif Canada on Twitter or Instagram, and let them know what you believe in, with the hashtag #ibelif, for a chance to win a trip for two to the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and Spa – a prize valued at up to $5,000!

And stay tuned because I’ve been testing out Belif’s skincare for the past few weeks, and have a review coming soon.
