Too Faced Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in ‘Melted Marshmallow’ – Review and Swatches

I’m back again with another Melted review!  Yes, I enjoy playing with lip products, but I get to have some extra fun trying the Too Faced Melteds, because I get to find props that match the name of the liquid lipstick.

Which one could I possibly be trying out today? *wink*

Of course, I’m talking about Too Faced Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in ‘Melted Marshmallow’!  It is a bright and bold flamingo pink.

While ‘Melted Marshmallow’ is a very pretty colour on paper, I found that this one was just way too stark for me – it almost reminded me of those neon lipsticks that light up when you go glow-in-the-dark bowling.  It was very pigmented, which I always appreciate, but it just didn’t look good on me – it was a little too “in your face”.  To make it more wearable I patted down the product with a tissue, which toned down the intensity.

It may have not been my cup of tea, but if you like super bright, loud lipsticks, check out Too Faced ‘Melted Marshmallow’.  And if you are looking for more Too Faced Melted reviews, take a look at my ‘Melted Fig’ review, and my ‘Chihuahua’ review.

It is not a colour I would usually wear but it looks good on you, complinents your skin tone! 🙂
