A Canadian’s Guide to Cover FX

Cover FX just started popping at up Sephora Canada.  Many beauty lovers may already know which products they’re going to grab first.

But for the uninitiated, I’ve got a few must-try suggestions.  These aren’t necessarily things you should run out and buy right away, but more like a suggestion of things that might interest you.  Of course, products work differently on everyone, so check them out, and form your own opinions.

You might have seen a few select Cover FX products in your local Shoppers Drug Mart.  But I am much happier seeing them at Sephora Canada, because unlike Shoppers Drug Mart, Sephora will have a MUCH larger selection of products.

The product that I think Canadians should keep their eyes open for, in my opinion, is the Cover FX Custom drops, which you can read about HERE.  They were never carried at shoppers, which is weird, because Custom Cover Drops has won like 15 beauty awards in 2015, including Allure’s Beauty Breakthrough award.

Until now Custom Cover Drops could only be purchased online, which means that you couldn’t try them in person before buying them.  But those days are O-V-E-R.  Now you can waltz into Sephora, and get colour matched on the spot.

If you are looking to turn your moisturizer into a foundation or even amp up the coverage of your favourite foundation, you’ll definitely want to give Cover FX Custom Cover Drops a try.  It comes in 25 shades, and it’s got some pretty cool science behind it called Flash Fusion Technology – as soon as your drop the Custom Cover Drops into your product, the solution flashes off leaving behind only pure pigment.  This gives you the control and convenience of adding coverage to anything.  Fun fact:  Adding a drop into a smaller amount of foundation or moisturizer will turn it into a concealer!

My other pick to look out for is the newest addition to the Cover FX family, the Click Stick (read all about it HERE).  Portable, customizable, and fun!

Cover FX Click Stick ‘Correct Click’

Cover FX Click Stick ‘Enhance’

Cover FX Click Stick ‘Berry’

These compact cuties are supposed to colour correct, conceal, enhance, blush, and even work as a stick foundation – sounds interesting.  I’ll be trying these out, and putting up a full review and swatches, so we’ll see if they’re my cup of tea.

I’m really excited to see what Cover FX has to offer.  Who knows?  Maybe a custom highlighter drop? *wink, wink*

See anything that will go on your must-have list?  Let me know in the comments.  Thanks for reading, and until next time, toodles! – Shawna
