Face of the Day: Valentine’s Day Look & Tutorial, with Hard Candy

Along with the nail art looks I posted earlier this week, I wanted to do a makeup look that you can sport this V-Day.

For a pink-themed look, look no further than Hard Candy*.

To create this look, I started with the Top Ten Classics Pinking Of You Eyeshadow Palette.  I used the light shimmery shades on the inner half of the lid, and mixed the darkest brown along with the red shade to blend into the crease and outer V.  I also blended together the red shade and the three pink colours to use as a blush.

Next, I took the Single & Loving It Eyeshadow in Flirty, as a highlighter.  I applied it to the browbone, and dusted it on the tops of my cheeks.

Finally, I applied the Plumping Serum Gel Lipstick in Desired, on my lips.  I really like the colour Desired provides – light, slightly shiny, has a nice burst of colour, and really pulls the look together.

You can find these Hard Candy products exclusively at Walmart, and walmart.ca.

Whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day, Galentine’s Day, or if it’s just another Sunday, I hope it’s a good one.  Thanks for reading, and until next time, toodles! – Shawna
