#FOTD – Jaclyn Hill Favorites by Morphe

It’s finally here!  The Jaclyn Hill Favorites palette by Morphe is finally mine!  And what better way to celebrate it than by doing a face of the day post?

This is what the box looked like.  Of course it only lasted about 2 seconds, as I busted through it to get to the palette.

Here’s what I came up with.

Face
Foundation:  Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse – Porcelain Ivory, Light 1
Blush:  MAC – Pavé, Sheerspark Pressex Powder
Highlight :  Benefit – High Beam (on top of cheeks)
Bronzer:  Physicians Formula, Glow & Mood Boosting Baked Bronzer – Light Bronzer

Maybelline Define-A-Brow – Dark Blonde
Too Faced Brow Envy Kit

Lips
Revlon HD Lip Lacquer – Pink Sapphire

Eyes
Mascara:  Covergirl Lash Blast Volume Waterproof – Black
Eyeliner:  ELF Cream Eyeliner – Black

And because I got my hair done a few hours after taking pictures for this post, so here’s my new hair!

I am beyond pleased with the color payoff of this palette.  The shadows are very finely milled, and pick up very easily onto your make up brush.  I can’t wait for Jaclyn Hill to start posting some tutorials with this palette on her youtube page.  Until then, the next JH Favorites tutorial I’ll be trying is the one by youtuber, and makeup artist, Mannymua – and if I do it justice, I’ll post some pictures.  Until next time! – Shawna
