Hello, friends! Today I’ve got a beauty tag that I made, for you to get to know the ladies of the CBB family. CBB or Canadian Beauty Bloggers is a group of ladies who have their own beauty blog, and connect with each other through social media, and through the CBB website, http://www.beautybloggers.ca/. So, what better way to get to know everyone than starting a beauty tag, where we answer questions about the thing that bonds us – beauty products!
For those who would like to do the tag, here is a list of all the questions – you can choose some of your faves to answer, or if you’ve got some spare time on your hands, you can answer them all. And at the end, don’t forget to tag a couple Canadian beauty bloggers that you would like to see complete the tag.

Alright, let’s get to it – here we go!
What was the first makeup item you ever purchased?
The first item I ever bought was an Annabelle eyeshadow duo…I don’t remember the name, but one side was a matte light pink, and the other a shimmery olive green. Eventually the olive green shattered, and this was before the days of pinterest, where there was a picture tutorial to show me how to fix broken powders, so I threw it out.
What colour/type of lipstick is taking over your
collection?
Nude pinks….it’s a problem. I always go back to nude pinks, and sometimes I’ll buy a lipstick being pretty sure that it’ll look identical to another one in my collection.
What is the best drug store brand item you have ever
purchased?
Hmmm…I’d have to go with the e.l.f. studio blush brush. I had read about how people preferred it over the MAC equivalent, and at $3.00, it was worth a shot. It’s sooooo soft, and the way it’s shaped fits perfectly to my cheeks.
Name one high end item that is at the top of your
wishlist and why.
No doubt, the number one, too-expensive-for-me-to-justify-buying product is the “MAC x Pedro Lourenço quad”. It’s BEAUTIFUL! If the makeup fairies would like to leave one under my pillow tonight, that would be lovely.

The Nude ‘Tude palette by TheBalm – it’s so cheeky!
Which beauty technique would you like to master?
What I wouldn’t give to understand contouring – i just can’t get a good grasp on it 🙁
What does your beauty storage station look like? (Share a picture
if you’d like)
Here’s a look inside a few drawers.
What is the best part of being a CBB?
I LOVE being a part of CBB – to me, the best part is having like-minded people to talk to about makeup and blogging, and having friends who don’t think that I’m bonkers when it comes to my makeup collection. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, I’m glad to be a part of it 🙂
Which brand do you WISH was available in Canada, but
isn’t?
Etude House! Their nail polishes are gorgeous, and their Minnie Mouse makeup line is so cute, but it’s such a drag to pay for shipping from Singapore.
Explain your one beauty discovery that totally changed
the makeup game for you.
Makeup brushes. The pre-makeup brush era was a dark time…
Pick one palette from your collection – show us a picture

My Lorac Unzipped palette. The colours are stunning, it has a variety of different finishes, gorgeous for any occasion, and they apply like butter – so smooth and creamy!
Name some of your favourite youtube beauty gurus.
Don’t make me choose! Okay, my top 3 are: Nicole Guerriero, Jaclyn Hill, and Emily from Beauty Broadcast.
What is your ‘holy grail’ item and why?
Maybelline’s Baby Skin Pore Eraser, because before this product, I couldn’t apply makeup to my t-zone without it looking patchy.
Lightning round!!!!!
Lipstick finish – matte or shine? Matte
Nail polish – solid colour or glitter? Glitter
Foundation – liquid, solid, or powder? Liquid
Lip gloss or lip balm? Lip Balm
