March Favorites

The end of March is upon us! Can you feel spring in the air? *looks outside, sees snow*  Only a few more weeks until I can pack away the winter jacket, right?  Here are some of my favorite items from the month of March.

Revlon Lip Butter in “Creme Brulee” – This is my first experience using Revlon’s lip butter, and I’m very happy.  I had my eye on this color for a while. so I’m glad I picked it up.  I always thought that lip butters were just a fancy lip balm, but Revlon’s actually have color!  This one was a bit sheer, but it’s great for a natural face kinda day, because it gives you a not as intense nude-lip look.

Carrot Cake M&M’s – Where do I even begin with these glorious drops of happiness?  I saw them online last year as the newest holiday flavor for Easter.  They were to be sold at Wal-Mart, but every Wal-Mart I went to didn’t carry it.  Apparently it was only sold at a particular branch, so no dice last year.  BUT, in the beginning of the month, I walked into the local Wal-Mart (in the States, not sure about Canada), and the big Easter display was beaming on me like a ray of sunshine.  The choirs sang.  It was beautiful…..Anyway!  These things are awesome, if you’re a fan of carrot cake.  They are white chocolate, and taste like the real thing!  Very cinnamon-y and nutmeg-y.

ELF’s Daily Moisture Stick – Upon seeing a review of this on youtube, I decided to try it out, and boy, am I happy that I did.  I tend to have sensitive skin, so I am cautious when using new skincare products.  This is great if you have any dry patches on your face.  Putting it on (and I’m not exaggerating here) feels like the  refreshment you feel  when you are jumping into a swimming pool on a hot summer day.  I definitely see and feel the improvement of my skin.

Maybelline Baby Skin, Instant Pore Eraser – Point blank, this stuff works for me.  It blurs the looks of my pores, so I use always use it in my makeup routine.

Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish in “Do The Mermaid” – I was lucky enough to get this on sale, and it is sooo pretty! A light lavender with small purple glitters, it really gets me into the spring spirit.

Udderly Smooth Hand Cream – As winter is just wrapping up (hopefully), I use this hand cream to repair any damage that the cold season brought to my hands.  It’s great to pop into your purse, and as far as the product itself, it is lightly scented and has a thick consistency, which makes for a very moisturizing feeling.

Well, that’s it for my March faves, did you have a new product you discovered this month?  Be sure to let me know, I’m always on the hunt for my next ‘favorites’ post.  Until Next time, don’t forget to ‘treat yo’ self’ to a mani!

I REALLY like your favorites post!!! Maybe I should try to do something similar… hmm…
I have the Candy Apple lip butter which is THE boldest red I've ever seen or worn! lol Creme Brulee is one I've wanted (never tried a nude lip before), but I believe it is a shade that wasn't released in the U.S. 🙁 My roommate and I were going to try those M&M's last year, but never did! I'll put that on my to-do list! Your refreshing pool analogy has me wanting to try that E.l.f. stick as well… I get dry patches when a zit is finally healing (yes, I'm 28 and still break out a LOT) so that might be very helpful! The DL is beautiful – reminds me of crocuses, actually. Very springy.
Oh, and coincidentally, Liesl of Liesl Loves Pretty Things recently reviewed that pore eraser too. 🙂 Again, GREAT roundup of favorites!!! 😀

Thanks so much for commenting Emily! The creme brulee color is a good transition color to doing a full nude lip, as it is a very tame nude look…I think like I bought it in the US, because I feel like I wouldn't be willing to pay Canadian prices for lip butters – they're always so pricey over here. Aaaaand excuse me while I run over to Liesl's page 😀
