Indies & Undies ft. Hardcore Cosmetics

Reviews-Day Tuesday is upon us again!

Today’s Indies & Undies is a fun one because we have a few mini polishes from Hardcore Cosmetics.  I was so excited to try them out, that I wore them all at the same time, as a skittles mani (a manicure where each nail is different).  As always, for indies & undies, the swatch sticks are just the indie polish, and the mani features indie nail polishes,
worn over drugstore colours, in order to  help the indie colour really
stand out.  So here’s what I came up with

First up is “Mother’s Little Helper” – a fuchsia-y pink jelly with iridescent purple micro-glitter.

“Mother’s Little Helper” over Sinful Colors’ “Beverly Hills”.

Second is “Oh, So Quiet” – A coral/orange jelly with small flecks of clear iridescent glitter.

“Oh, So Quiet” over Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear’s “Coral Reef”

Next is “Southern Girl” – A clear purple base, with large white hex
glitters, medium and small purple square glitters, and purple mini-hex
glitters.

1 coat
2 coats

What I like about this glitter topcoat is that depending on what angle
you look at it, or how much light you are looking at it under, the
purple glitter shifts between purple, light grey, and white.  It’s a
really cool effect.

“Southern Girl”  over Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear’s “Lacey Lilac”.

Finally is “Heaven” – A duo-chrome rose gold.

1 coat
2 coats

I got the most compliments on this one, because it is so shiny – sometimes the average drugstore rose golds are a little muted and dull, so it’s nice to have an indie alternative that is so reflective, and the blend of colours is just beautiful.

“Heaven” over Sinful Colors’ “Vacation Time”.

All 4 colors in all their glory!

Hardcore Cosmetics’ mini polishes retail for $4.00 each, and sometimes, they offer promotions, like 25% off for the week of Cyber Monday.
