Dupe of the Day Review – Blue Addicted

While my local drugstore has begun to carry this brand in Canada, as far as I know, they do not carry this particular colour in North America.  Fortunately for me, I’ve got a stand up friend, who picked up a few bottles for me on her latest exchange to Switzerland, so shout-out to her for being a stellar pal 🙂 – she can get all the free mani’s she wants.

This is a dupe of Deborah Lippman’s “Across the Universe”.  Essence’s “Blue Addicted” is a dead ringer.  It looks extremely similar to the original.  It is a navy blue jelly base with emerald green and royal blue micro and hexagonal glitter.  No need to layer it over another colour, you will get great results with 2 or 3 thick coats.

Verdict – Get it.  Get your hands on it any way you can.  Although it’s a third of the size of the DL bottle, it is also almost a tenth of the price, at only 2 dollars, max.  If you happen to be taking a trip to Europe, they sell it at their local convenience stores, so stock up, and bring back a bottle for me :).
